Join me today, Saturday September 17th from 11am-noon for a free yoga class as part of the Scotiabank Dance Centre‘s Open House (677 Davie St). It is the 10 year anniversary of the building and there will be many amazing and entertaining free events happening. Come play!
Happy Pride! In honour of Pride Week in Vancouver, I thought I would tell you about a fun, affordable yoga class coordinated specifically for gay men. Class is held every Friday evening from 7-8:15pm by HIM (Health Initiative for Men) at the Scotiabank Dance Centre. Classes are by donation (minimum $5), they are for all-levels, but be prepared with your own mat and towel.
So go on, get your stretch on… then get your groove on later on the dance floor!
Have a happy and safe weekend everyone!!
Looking for a new delicious place for brunch this weekend? Latitude on Main Street (3250 Main St) has an outstanding menu with all the usual tasty brunch staples accompanied by mouthwatering Latin American flavour combinations, created by chef Lisa Henderson. The dishes are very reasonably priced and made with fresh, local ingredients. Chilaquiles and Huevos Divorciados? Yes, please.
The killer bar menu is devised by the one and only Nick Devine. My favourites being the michelada or a classic lime margarita. Nick makes the best margaritas in the city, by far.
Outdoor patio and sweet, unpretentious dining room along with warm service staff and amazing food creates the perfect brunch storm.
I’m getting hungry. See you there!
Shipping is a terrible thing to do to vegetables. They probably get jet-lagged, just like people. ~Elizabeth Berry
